CAAB welcome another airline into Maun this July

The Civil Aviation Authority of Botswana (CAAB) will host a celebratory event to mark the inaugural landing of FlyNamibia at Maun International Airport on the 03rd July 2024.

The event will be preceded by a Media Tour of the airport and a Press briefing on the 02nd July 2024 according to the information passed to the media by CAAB Public Affairs Officer Modipe Nkwe.

The Inaugural Landing of Fly Namibia Venue into Maun International Airport would be on 03rd July 2024.

Starting on 3rd till October 2024 , FlyNamibia will operate select flights through the route: Windhoek (Hosea Kutako International Airport to Maun, to Katima Mulilo and back to Windhoek. These Flights will be on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

The route is expected to enhance connectivity between Botswana and Namibia and boost tourism between the two countries.
